Nancy's Birthday - Coochiemudlo Island

We spent a couple days on Coochiemudlo Island just to get away from Cleveland and to do something a little different for Nancy's birthday. While we are heading towards the chillier days and nights of late autumn and winter we happened to luck into a sunny weekend with warm sunshine and bright, blue skies. "Coochie" is just a 15 minute drive and maybe a 10 minute barge/ferry ride from our house.

Warm PJs for a birthday present. It seems like every time we come to Australia Nancy ends up with "warm" birthday presents ( in addition to an E reader in 2013)

On Saturday morning we took a little ferry back to Victoria Point for our usual 6:00 a.m.Saturday morning trip to the bakery and a jog

 

Birthday cake number 2 at the bakery. The bakery donates a birthday cake each Saturday and the running club celebrates member birthdays for the week.
