Running News

As some of you may know (or already have read elsewhere in the blog) we are going through the motions of trying to stay in shape. Our goal is to return to Canada the same approximate size as when we departed.
To do so we aligned ourselves with a great group of runners and walkers, the Bayside Runners and Walkers.  We meet every Saturday at 6 a.m. for a run along the esplanade at Victoria Point. After the run everyone retires to a local bakery for coffee, brekkie, birthday cake etc.. It's been a lot of fun and a great way to meet new people.

Jockeying for position - not really it's a pretty casual run

And we're off on a 5 km time trial. Theres a TT at the end of every month.

A strong finish at 27:09

Fatigue is setting in but I'll be at the bakery in 15 minutes!
