Richmond
In
essence today was a relatively short day in an effort to try and get a little
closer to the Port Arthur penal colony which is tentatively scheduled to open
tomorrow depending on the status of the bush fires down on the Tasman
Penninsula. Nevertheless we stopped at Spikey Bridge (built by convicts)
and
the very quaint and old town of Richmond which boats the oldest bridge in
Australia. We subsequently wandered about Richmond stopping in at a local market.
That night we stayed in a caravan park with - get this - our own
"ensuite" toilet and shower facilities. We never heard of that
before!
